Goodyear Youth Commission

I have spent the last three years volunteering as a part of the Goodyear Youth Commission (GYC). It has been a very fun and rewarding experience. As a part of the GYC I get the opportunity to volunteer at more places than an ordinary citizen. I've gotten to do everything such as collecting food, all the way to volunteering as a victim in CERT. I also have the amazing opportunity to learn about city government and help shape the City of Goodyear's future. The skills I'm learning along my volunteering will be valuable tools for me to use for the future. I'm currently signed up with them for my second term and look forward to the next half of it after summer break!
